Condition & Grading Policy
This Condition & Grading Policy explains how Wholesale Pallet Market (“we”, “us”, “our”) describes the condition of pallets, truckloads, and products we sell. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these grading standards for liquidation merchandise.
General Notes About Liquidation Inventory
Our pallets and truckloads may include overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, mixed-condition goods, and salvage merchandise, depending on the load.
Items can show signs of handling, including price stickers, store labels, tape, dents, scratches, opened packaging, worn packaging, or replaced packaging.
Some items may be missing accessories, manuals, parts, chargers, original boxes, or retail packaging, especially in customer return, mixed, and salvage loads.
All goods are sold AS-IS / WHERE-IS, as explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
Condition Grades
A. New / Overstock
Items are typically new, unused, and originally intended for retail sale.
These products often come from excess inventory, discontinued product lines, warehouse clearances, or store overstocks.
Packaging may still show minor wear, price tags, retail labels, shelf wear, or handling marks.
B. Shelf Pulls
Shelf pulls are merchandise removed from retail shelves due to season changes, packaging updates, discontinued SKUs, display resets, or excess stock.
Items are usually unused but may show signs of handling. Packaging may be slightly damaged, opened, missing shrink-wrap, or marked with store stickers, clearance labels, or price tags.
C. Customer Returns
Customer returns are items that were purchased and then returned by customers for different reasons, including fit, preference, packaging damage, minor defects, incorrect purchase, or buyer's remorse.
Condition can range from like-new to visibly used. Some items may require cleaning, inspection, testing, repair, repackaging, or refurbishment before resale.
D. Mixed Returns / Mixed Grade
Pallets labeled as mixed may include a combination of overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, open-box goods, and salvage items.
Buyers should expect a blend of resellable items and units that may be best used for parts, repair, refurbishment, recycling, or bulk resale.
Pricing for mixed loads usually reflects the higher-risk nature of this inventory type.
E. Salvage / For Parts
Salvage or for-parts items are generally not guaranteed to be fully functional.
These products may have significant cosmetic damage, missing parts, mechanical issues, electrical issues, broken components, damaged packaging, or no original packaging.
This grade is best suited for experienced buyers who can repair, harvest parts, refurbish, recycle, or repurpose goods.
Manifests and Item Lists
Some pallets or truckloads may include a manifest, estimated retail value, product list, or category breakdown. Others may be sold as unmanifested loads.
When provided, manifests are approximate and are for guidance only. They may contain errors, substitutions, missing items, quantity differences, model variations, or value differences.
A manifest is not a guarantee of exact contents, exact condition, exact resale value, exact brands, or exact quantities.
Variations in style, size, model, color, condition, brand mix, and value within a pallet or truckload are normal and are not grounds for a refund.
Testing and Functionality
Unless clearly stated in writing, items in customer return, mixed, or salvage loads are not individually tested.
Buyers should expect to perform their own inspection, cleaning, testing, repair, refurbishment, or repackaging before resale.
This is especially important for electronics, appliances, tools, high-value goods, open-box items, and customer return merchandise.
Packaging and Presentation
Across all grades, buyers should expect packaging variation.
Retail packaging may be dented, torn, taped, opened, marked, missing, or replaced with generic packaging.
Some items may be poly-bagged, loose in boxes, bundled, repacked, or shipped without original retail packaging.
Price tags, clearance stickers, store labels, barcodes, shipping labels, or warehouse markings may be present.
Brand and Authenticity
Wholesale Pallet Market sources inventory through liquidation, wholesale, overstock, and distribution channels.
Where branded goods are advertised or included, we aim to provide genuine branded products. However, we do not manufacture the goods and we are not an authorized distributor for all brands that may appear in pallets or truckloads.
Buyers are responsible for inspecting products, confirming suitability for resale, and complying with any marketplace, brand, legal, or resale platform rules regarding branded merchandise.
No Condition Guarantees Beyond Grading
Condition grades and descriptions are general guidelines, not guarantees of individual item performance, resale value, completeness, or functionality.
Because liquidation inventory is sold AS-IS, buyers should expect some level of defects, missing accessories, incomplete items, damaged packaging, unsellable units, or products requiring repair.
These conditions are part of the liquidation business model and are reflected in the pricing. They do not qualify for returns or refunds except as specifically explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
